Verified by VISA

Your debit card is now equipped with Verified by VISA. This offers an extra layer of security at the point where you enter your debit card information when making an online purchase. The service helps prevent unauthorized online use before it happens by confirming your identity with an additional password. All you need to do is register your card. There are 2 ways to do that.

1. Activate While You Shop. When you shop at a participating online merchant, enter the information requested during checkout and complete the identity verification process. You’ll establish a user ID, password and personal message. Once accepted, you’ll be returned to the merchant’s site to complete your transaction.
2. Activate at Our Website. Click on the Verified By VISA logo. On the enrollment website, click on REGISTER CARD. Enter your 16-digit card number and click next. Complete the activation form and click next. Enter a username and password, accept the terms and conditions and click next. Your activation is complete.

Once you activate your card, you’ll be presented a password entry page when shopping at participating Verified by VISA online merhants -- so only you an use your card.
