Now it’s 2022 and you’ve got a computer/phone/stereo/word processor/etc. the size of your hand that you take with you everywhere you go. Oh, and that Apple or Android device is WAAAY more powerful than that computer was in 1998. There are tons of apps available for any smart device you may own, and one app that is a must-have is definitely your credit union’s mobile app. If you’re not savvy with a mobile banking app yet, here are three reasons you should be… 

It’s in your pocket: Everywhere you go, your smartphone is more than likely in your hand or in your pocket/purse. Your bank is miles away, and your laptop is in the other room with a dead battery. Does that sound right? Well, if you need a quick look at your accounts, look no further than your credit union’s mobile banking app. It’s pretty much always within arm’s reach and available to you whenever you need it. 

It’s easy to login:  Logging into your mobile banking app couldn’t possibly be any easier. Even if your Phone is “super old”, you can login with the touch of your finger. If you’ve got the latest tech, thanks to Face ID, all you do is look at the screen. 

It’s super easy: I’m sure you could come up with a few reasons to travel inside your local CU branch, but mobile banking has definitely made one (formerly huge) reason obsolete. Depositing checks has never been easier than it is with mobile banking. Simply type in an amount, select which account you’d like it to go into, and then take a photo of both sides of the check. Boom. Done. It’s that simple.

To Begin: 

1. Download the WKFCU App from the Apple Store or Google Play, depending on your type of phone. 
2. On the home page of the app, touch the line that says “New to Digital Banking? Enroll Now.” 
3. Follow the steps to enroll. You will need to know your account/member number.  That will be your login or you can change it to something else.
4. The “Menu” is represented by 3 lines on the left-hand side, at the top of the pages. Tap on the lines to see the Menu. 
5. Tap on the icon of a person in a circle on the right-hand side of the page to see other menu options and “Sign Out.”
